The supporters of Penúltimo do Ranking booed when Toronto - Férias - OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Mota was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Penúltimo do Ranking's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Mineiro came free, but Percival Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percival Meireles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rui Mineiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Percival Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Chaves in the 42nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Penúltimo do Ranking fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Toronto - Férias - OFF. Jailson Paraibano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Percival Meireles. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Mineiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Pedro Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Meireles having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Rômulo Messias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Samuca Mello, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Penúltimo do Ranking's Amauri Botelho got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Jailson Paraibano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percival Meireles skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Penúltimo do Ranking getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dinei Borges hit a great ball. Percival Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Inácio de Brito's late challenge caught a Toronto - Férias - OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
