Umberto Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Chico Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ronaldo Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo José Perez to make the kick off. AtAnAkAs FC's Chico Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Cosme in the 55th minute of play.
