After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cacá Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campo Bom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Cacá Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filipe Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Avaí F.C.'s Márcio Alcântara got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Adilson do Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Barreto. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Avaí F.C.'s zone, Cacá Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Salgado came out of the goal and Cacá Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauã de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauã de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Avaí F.C.'s Kauã de Queiroz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Didi Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avaí F.C.'s protests and gave Didi Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Avaí F.C.'s Didi Rocha got a free kick in the 38th minute. The Campo Bom FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. Campo Bom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Avaí F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campo Bom FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
