Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir da Costa in the 4th minute of play forced Belmonte's goalkeeper Raúl Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, corithians es's goalkeeper Luís Mangueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Santos. Raúl Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Waldir da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Santos came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luís Mangueira could save by the left post. Yan Sarmento scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes, Hamílton Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belmonte and the corithians es players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldir da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raúl Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes of play, corithians es's Waldir da Costa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Waldir da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the corithians es fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir da Costa couldn't finish the play. Belmonte's Raúl Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir da Costa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Waldir da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luís Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Yuri Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Waldir da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the corithians es fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir da Costa couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Joaquim Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Mangueira. corithians es's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Waldir da Costa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Raúl Queiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franklin Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Raúl Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir da Costa in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raúl Queiroz saved Belmonte from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, corithians es's Waldir da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Yan Sarmento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl Queiroz. That made the score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. Joaquim Ramalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Mangueira having to make a save. Waldir da Costa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Raúl Queiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. corithians es's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
