Luís Fábio Antunes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fausto Vinhas. After 12 minutes of play, Real brasil's Marcus Queiroz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleandro da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurinho Tande scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fábio Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes, Só Canelas F.C.'s Andrézinho da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Fábio Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Só Canelas F.C. reached it. In the 25th play minute Elder Santos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Fábio Antunes. 2-1. When Só Canelas F.C.'s Nelsinho Koehler in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Santos got free with Luís Fábio Antunes in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Elder Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fábio Antunes. Real brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elder Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 48th minute of play forced Real brasil's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Luís Fábio Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Fábio Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Koehler's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelsinho Koehler in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Antunes saved Real brasil from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Só Canelas F.C.'s Elias Albuquerque got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 72 played minutes Real brasil got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Queiroz. Luís Fábio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelsinho Koehler in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fábio Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fábio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match Elder Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio Antunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Só Canelas F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
