José Maria Perez took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Breno Araújo. Breno Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Manuel Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Arantes in the 17th minute of the match. Marezinha's Manuel Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Vides in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Jarah Bo Hamad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Arce in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, José Maria Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marezinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Polenta FC's André Arantes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. José Maria Perez kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Polenta FC's keeper Breno Araújo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 36 minutes into the match, José Maria Perez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Polenta FC's Breno Araújo. Breno Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute André Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Araújo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manolo Paraíba.

The wind increased when Carlos Fernando Lopez made the kick off in the second half. If José Maria Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Manolo Paraíba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. Manuel Lira made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jorge Neiva sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, José Maria Perez notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Polenta FC's Breno Araújo. Breno Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Polenta FC's Carlos Fernando Lopez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. José Maria Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilmar Maciel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. When Marezinha's José Maria Perez in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polenta FC's goalie prevented a goal. João Vítor Rosa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Manuel Lira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Arantes. Manuel Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, José Maria Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Apolo Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Marezinha were victorious despite being under pressure from Polenta FC for much of the match.
