Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manfredo Recife started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Amílton Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luís Fábio Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eduardo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Aresta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Dorival Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Luís Fábio Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Júlio Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorival Vasconcelos skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Egídio Magalhães suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 23 minutes, Manoel Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aresta FC and the Ayapua players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Aresta FC got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Eger. Eduardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Vasconcelos having to interfere. Eliseu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Dias in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorival Vasconcelos saved Ayapua from getting behind. Eduardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Vasconcelos having to interfere. Eliseu Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorival Vasconcelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Eduardo Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseu Dias was the one to do the kick off. Eliseu Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dorival Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Eliseu Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Dias in the 60th minute of play. Eduardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Vasconcelos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Benê Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayapua's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benê Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rodriguinho Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayapua's Dorival Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ayapua from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ayapua's Davi Toscano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eliseu Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dorival Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorival Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Dias in the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, Ayapua's Dorival Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Eduardo Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
