Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) ABC Futebol Clube's Laércio Cerezo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waldemar Romero struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Acácio de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ABC Futebol Clube. Waldemar Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio de Sousa having to interfere. With a little luck, Itabuna's Acácio de Sousa got control of the ball when Waldemar Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charles Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Tande in the 17th minute of play. Amílton Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Charles Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luiz Fernando Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itabuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amílton Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luiz Fernando Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fernando Tande in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Leme saved ABC Futebol Clube from getting behind. If Amílton Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Secco in the 39th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Tande had several of the ABC Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Charles Leme as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Itabuna's zone, Laércio Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 63rdth minute of the game Amílton Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABC Futebol Clube's Charles Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luiz Fernando Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
