Edgard Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Álvaro Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Tinoco having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléber Antunes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, BOLA NA TRAVE's Alfredinho Rosado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of BOLA NA TRAVE booed when NOVO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel França didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by NOVO F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgard Tepedino was slow to take the kick. During this time BOLA NA TRAVE's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on BOLA NA TRAVE's corner Edgard Tepedino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Álvaro Tinoco quite easily take care of the ball. In the 66th minute, Kléber Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Tinoco. NOVO F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 68 minutes into the game, Sérgio Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NOVO F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOLA NA TRAVE the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in NOVO F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The referee gave BOLA NA TRAVE a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Tepedino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NOVO F.C's Álvaro Tinoco. 4-0. Kléber Antunes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Álvaro Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOLA NA TRAVE. After a defensive mix-up in NOVO F.C's zone, Luiz Fabiano de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Tinoco came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Tinoco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Antunes in the 96th minute of play forced NOVO F.C's goalkeeper Álvaro Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that BOLA NA TRAVE were the better team. BOLA NA TRAVE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
