Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ubaldo Mateus started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Ubaldo Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Mateus got free with Maicon Koehler in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Álvaro da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Koehler. Japao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Álvaro da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tibia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Augusto Nunes's late challenge caught a Tibia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Augusto Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ubaldo Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Koehler having to interfere. With a little luck, Japao's Maicon Koehler got control of the ball when Álvaro da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Humberto Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Tibia FC got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Jacinto. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Hoffmann was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Japao were awarded a corner. Alexsandro Pitta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alexsandro Pitta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tibia FC's Luiz Fábio Leal did a great save. Ubaldo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maicon Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Mateus in the 60th minute of play forced Japao's goalkeeper Maicon Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hoffmann in the 62nd minute of play forced Tibia FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Álvaro da Fonseca put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maicon Koehler. In the 70th minute of the match Ronaldão Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Leal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Celso Nóbrega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio Leal. Tibia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Nóbrega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maicon Koehler was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Ubaldo Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibia FC made a substitution. Rodrigo Secco replaced Ubaldo Mateus. Maicon Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Secco in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Álvaro da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tibia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Rodrigo Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Koehler having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Rodrigo Secco made a precise shot to the right of Maicon Koehler. Japao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. There was no doubt that Tibia FC were the better team. Tibia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
