An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Teixeira in the 23rd minute of play forced Malva's goalkeeper Claudinho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho Moura hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Claudinho Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vitório Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Cleiton Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleiton Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Felippe Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Claudinho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Cleiton Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Claudinho Loureiro to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

TumTum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Malva's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Teixeira came free, but Claudinho Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Teixeira in the 56th minute of play forced Malva's goalkeeper Claudinho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cleiton Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. TumTum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitório Maciel in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleiton Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Osvaldinho Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Malva's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Trancoso came free, but Claudinho Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Cleiton Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Duarte Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Teixeira in the 85th minute of play. Osvaldinho Moura scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Teixeira in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. TumTum FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
