Álvaro da Fonseca scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 played minutes Tibia FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Paulista. In the 22nd minute Cleiton Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TumTum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Amaral should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fábio Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Teixeira in the 32nd minute of the match. Vitório Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ernani Paiva's late challenge caught a Tibia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Tibia FC. Álvaro da Fonseca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Álvaro Amaral. 0-4. Ubaldo Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Vitório Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Luiz Fábio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TumTum FC's Álvaro Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Mateus in the 56th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Cleiton Teixeira made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tibia FC's Luiz Fábio Leal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubaldo Mateus might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Mateus ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, TumTum FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro da Fonseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Teixeira in the 69th minute of play forced Tibia FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Mateus in the 74th minute of play forced TumTum FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Cleiton Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TumTum FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tibia FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
