Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Messias kicked off to start the match. Periquara AD's Carlos Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Haendel's goalkeeper Rafael Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Tróia. Téo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Macedo in the 6th minute of play. Tony Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Téo Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Téo Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Haendel's Léo do Nascimento got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot by Magno Ferraz from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Rafael Messias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Haendel's Roberto Fontes got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th match minute, Haendel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Carlos Messias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Messias, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Messias in the 24th minute of play forced Haendel's goalkeeper Rafael Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Fontes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Yan Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafa Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Mazza having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Téo Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Macedo in the 53rd minute. Rafael Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Messias's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Osvaldinho Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Periquara AD's Magno Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Periquara AD reached it. When Periquara AD's Carlos Messias in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haendel's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Periquara AD's Téo Mazza got control of the ball when Tony Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Téo Mazza made a huge save. Rafael Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tony Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Mazza having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Carlos Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Yan Tróia struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Rafael Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periquara AD. 92 minutes into the match, Carlos Messias notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Haendel's Rafael Messias. Rafael Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Periquara AD had won after a very even match.
