Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Messias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Batel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Messias came free, but Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Batel FC's Raimundo Mineiro got a free kick in the 5th minute. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Messias in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Rodriguinho Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batel FC's Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Messias in the 8th minute of play. If Yan Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Messias in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld saved Batel FC from getting behind. Eurico Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carlos Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Periquara AD's Carlos Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yan Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. José Maria Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batel FC's Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Messias in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Zanette was the one to do the kick off. José Maria Ramalho hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Yan Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Periquara AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Tróia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Tróia in the 61st minute of play forced Batel FC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Messias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld having to make a save. After having played for 63 minutes, Yan Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Periquara AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Batel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Messias struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periquara AD. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Messias in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Periquara AD's Carlos Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Carlos Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Periquara AD's Yan Tróia. But to his dismay, Yan Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Periquara AD had played much better football throughout.
