Academia da Berlinda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. César da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. César da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dedê Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão de Azevedo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Academia da Berlinda FC's goalkeeper Dedê Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Gomes. Luizão de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio Moreno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jeferson da Rocha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia da Berlinda FC's goalkeeper Dedê Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Arlindo Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ZARANIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Camargo couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fabiano Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adrianinho Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia da Berlinda FC's protests and gave Adrianinho Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. Dedê Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Camargo in the 73rd minute of the match. César da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Moreno having to interfere. Elivélton Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Arlindo Camargo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dedê Moreno, passed just outside the right post. Dedê Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded ZARANIT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia da Berlinda FC.
