Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dudu Bueno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Parahiba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão de Azevedo came free, but Glauco Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dedê Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Campidelis came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia da Berlinda FC's Luizão de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Luizão de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Luizão de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Parahiba EC's zone, Elivélton Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Campidelis came out of the goal and Elivélton Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dedê Moreno came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Parahiba EC's Patrick Paraibano. But to his dismay, Patrick Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 55th minute, Luizão de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Patrick Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dedê Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Bueno in the 63rd minute of the match. Dedê Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dudu Bueno went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Adrianinho Madureira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Luizão de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Glauco Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Glauco Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia da Berlinda FC. After 78 played minutes Parahiba EC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Fonseca. 86 minutes into the game, Parahiba EC's Patrick Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Glauco Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivélton Baiano in the 89th minute. Glauco Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Academia da Berlinda FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Madureira. Elivélton Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Glauco Campidelis made a huge save. Haroldo Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parahiba EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Academia da Berlinda FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
