Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Parahiba EC's zone, Luiz Fabiano Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Campidelis came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute of the match Célio Motta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glauco Campidelis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arlindo Camargo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Campidelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Campidelis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Camargo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glauco Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Paraibano in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Arlindo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco Campidelis was a little too slow when Arlindo Camargo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Parahiba EC's goalkeeper Glauco Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Dionísio. In the 32nd minute, Jailson Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, César da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZARANIT's supporters crossed their fingers, but César da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Glauco Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When ZARANIT's Arlindo Camargo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parahiba EC's goalie prevented a goal. César da Rocha's late challenge caught a Parahiba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, César da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patrick Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlindo Camargo was the one to do the kick off. Glauco Campidelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arlindo Camargo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Campidelis. Glauco Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 77th minute, Luiz Fabiano Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If César da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ZARANIT's Angelo Arruda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Dionísio in the 86th minute of play forced Parahiba EC's goalkeeper Glauco Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arlindo Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
