Oval Swarovski Crystal's Ricardinho Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho Madureira during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrianinho Madureira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo de Barros in the 10th minute of play forced Academia da Berlinda FC's goalkeeper Dedê Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Luizão de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th match minute, Oval Swarovski Crystal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Alves to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 22 in the game by Ricardinho Soeiro from a close distance when the talented Dedê Moreno managed to make a qualified save. Academia da Berlinda FC's players were relieved. In the 24th play minute Ricardinho Soeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dedê Moreno. 1-0. Ricardinho Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Ricardinho Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Dedê Moreno. Academia da Berlinda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Academia da Berlinda FC's Dedê Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto de Amaral in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Ricardinho Soeiro made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Academia da Berlinda FC's Dedê Moreno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Beto de Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dedê Moreno. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardinho Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão de Azevedo in the 55th minute of play forced Oval Swarovski Crystal's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Elivélton Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia da Berlinda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elivélton Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Moreno in the 57th minute of play forced Oval Swarovski Crystal's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Soeiro in the 65th minute of play. Tiaguinho Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Dedê Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ricardinho Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Gustavo de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Moreno having to interfere. The supporters of Academia da Berlinda FC booed when Oval Swarovski Crystal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Soeiro scored 7-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedê Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Soeiro notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Academia da Berlinda FC's Dedê Moreno. Dedê Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivélton Baiano in the 92nd minute. When Ricardinho Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Oval Swarovski Crystal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Soeiro couldn't finish the play.
