With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Brodel in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel de Carvalho saved Valencia from getting behind. Valencia's Daniel de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Vinhas in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Leonel Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Daniel de Carvalho. Valencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dorival Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorival Brodel struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Luís Fernando Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia. In the 75th minute, Naldo Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Videu SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Linares came free, but Luís Fernando Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
