With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Baptista in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cícero Cosme saved Real Atlético Estados from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cícero Cosme was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Luisinho Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuriduarte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Medeiros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Yuriduarte's Délio Saraiva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Real Atlético Estados's Cícero Cosme got control of the ball when Luisinho Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yuriduarte's Carlos Alberto Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Antunes in the 67th minute of play. When Gugu Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuriduarte's protests and gave Gugu Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Gugu Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Real Atlético Estados got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Tepedino. With his leg Cícero Cosme managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Yuriduarte's Luisinho Baptista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luisinho Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cícero Cosme made a huge save. Charles Miranda struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cícero Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuriduarte. Luisinho Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cícero Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 93 in the game by Luisinho Baptista from a close distance when the talented Cícero Cosme managed to make a qualified save. Real Atlético Estados's players were relieved. Many of Yuriduarte's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Yuriduarte may have spent more time on the ball, but Real Atlético Estados were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
