Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eliézer Paraense made the kick off and thus started the match. Gilberto Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliézer Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Matos having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Eliézer Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xanxerê Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Damião in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Mangueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mané Damião took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Mangueira. Gilberto Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Farrapo Fantasma FC booed when Xanxerê Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Gordo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gilberto Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Farrapo Fantasma FC defense, Alessandro Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Matos. The Farrapo Fantasma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Augusto Matos should have stopped the shot. If Alessandro Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Brito in the 31st minute of the match. When Farrapo Fantasma FC's Mané Damião in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xanxerê Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Eliézer Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Brito in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Farrapo Fantasma FC booed when Xanxerê Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Gordo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmir Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Brito to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Paraense in the 52nd minute of play forced Farrapo Fantasma FC's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilberto Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mané Damião sent off a good shot on target. After 58 minutes Xanxerê Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Pernambucano who took care of the corner kick. Farrapo Fantasma FC's Marco Pernambucano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Mangueira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedê Arósio during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Xanxerê Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Arósio. If Eliézer Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Farrapo Fantasma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Paraense came free, but Pedro Augusto Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes Farrapo Fantasma FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliézer Paraense who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Augusto Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Paraense in the 83rd minute of play. Alessandro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Augusto Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliézer Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Farrapo Fantasma FC's zone, João Gordo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Matos came out of the goal and João Gordo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xanxerê Futebol Clube were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Farrapo Fantasma FC to leave the ground with a draw.
