After 3 minutes of play, Cabeceira FC's Eliézer Faria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rômulo Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians-Ba's protests and gave Rômulo Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. Rômulo Vargas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Felippe Bittencourt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nestor Abraão, passed just outside the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Corinthians-Ba's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Abreu came free, but Nestor Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Faria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Nestor Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Corinthians-Ba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Felippe Bittencourt scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Abraão, making the score, 2-0. Eliézer Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Abraão having to interfere. If Mário Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Felippe Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Bittencourt got free with Nestor Abraão in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Bittencourt made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Felippe Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabeceira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cabeceira FC's Claudinho Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Félix in the 61st minute of play. If Mário Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64th play minutes Álvaro Esteves shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Claudinho Moraes and just under the crossbar into goal. Felippe Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nestor Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabeceira FC. Mário Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Mário Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute Felippe Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Quintal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Abraão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rômulo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Felippe Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Corinthians-Ba defense, Eliézer Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Abraão. The Corinthians-Ba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Abraão should have stopped the shot. Eliézer Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Abraão having to interfere. Nestor Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Nestor Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nestor Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabeceira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians-Ba the free kick. Cabeceira FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
