Claudinei Lucas started the match with the kick off. The Praia Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Piauna EC's Oséias Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Lucas in the 59th minute of play. Dráusio Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho de Azevedo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Lopes in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Thiago Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Thiago Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Paulinho Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Hílton Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Abreu in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Praia Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Lopes came free, but Robinho de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oséias Ferreira having to make a save. Dráusio Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robinho de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Praia Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
