An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Pinho in the 6th minute of play forced Mapixy AD's goalkeeper Lenílson Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lenílson Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mapixy AD's Nicolas Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Vargas having to interfere. Oscar Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Simão Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Hermes in the 36th minute. Simão Vargas made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Anísio Hermes sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Quirino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Ferraz during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renan Quirino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Genílson Pinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lenílson Baptista could save by the left post. After 63 minutes Mapixy AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Falcão Queirós who took care of the corner kick. Paraju's Falcão Queirós was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lenílson Baptista in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Nicolas Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Quirino in the 69th minute of the match. When Nicolas Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mapixy AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Bastos couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mapixy AD booed when Paraju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Charles Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paraju's Simão Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Braga in the 95th minute of play. Nicolas Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Vargas having to interfere. Mapixy AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
