An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittencourt in the 9th minute of play forced Morro Agudo Sport Club's goalkeeper Ramiro Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TheShield FC booed when Morro Agudo Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Renato Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Campidelis in the 20th minute of the match. Ramiro Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dadá Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to TheShield FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Claudinho Nunes hit a great ball. Ramiro Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Fontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dudu Gaspar firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 46 minutes, Dadá Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Agudo Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Juan Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. If Juan Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morro Agudo Sport Club's Andrézinho Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TheShield FC's Dudu Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Fontes in the 70th minute of play. Juan Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ramiro Berger made a huge save. After some careless play in the TheShield FC defense, Dadá Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu Gaspar. The TheShield FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Juninho Pitta charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Pitta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of TheShield FC booed when Morro Agudo Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittencourt in the 91st minute of play forced Morro Agudo Sport Club's goalkeeper Ramiro Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Campidelis got free with Ramiro Berger in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morro Agudo Sport Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
