Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valdo Diniz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Jefferson Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Time de Futebol and the Brusque Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Time de Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Montenegro. In the 7th minute of the match Jerônimo Ramalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesinha Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jefferson Montenegro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. If Júlio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Madureira having to interfere. Gugu Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cesinha Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time de Futebol. The audience was convinced that Gugu Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesinha Santana was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Luís Eduardo Cavalcante hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Guilherme Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Brusque Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Pombal couldn't finish the play. Júlio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Madureira having to interfere. If Gugu Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brusque Futebol Clube's Guilherme Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brusque Futebol Clube's zone, Gugu Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Santana came out of the goal and Gugu Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Gugu Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesinha Santana. Brusque Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Tavares to make the kick off. Luizinho de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Time de Futebol's Ricardo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Pombal in the 59th minute of play. Michel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Santana having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Time de Futebol's zone, Guilherme Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Madureira came out of the goal and Guilherme Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Time de Futebol's Betinho Mangueira got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Pombal in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Júlio Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Pombal in the 81st minute of play forced Time de Futebol's goalkeeper Ricardo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ricardo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Guilherme Pombal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Time de Futebol's Ricardo Madureira. Ricardo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesinha Santana made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gugu Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
