Dráuzio Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ruy Cardoso made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Paulo Moraes during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Santoryu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lauro AD:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Félix in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Cardoso saved Santoryu FC from getting behind. If Dráuzio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luciano Félix struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ruy Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lauro AD. Serginho Torres hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Prestes.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ruy Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dráuzio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dráuzio Melo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lauro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Melo couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Melo came free, but Ruy Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Cardoso. In the 87th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Luciano Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lauro AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
