Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baltazar Rocha started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Baltazar Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Acácio Proença managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Rei de Ouro's Edson Schmidt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 10th minute Rodolfo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Rei de Ouro's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Rocha came free, but Léo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rei de Ouro getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gerson Diniz hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Edson Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baianopolis SS's Acácio Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabino Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léo da Silva. Rei de Ouro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute Edson Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tue Agerhøj kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Edson Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Paulo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Schmidt in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Proença saved Baianopolis SS from getting behind. Acácio Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edson Schmidt went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edson Schmidt made a kick off. Rei de Ouro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tue Agerhøj in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Tue Agerhøj almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Baianopolis SS's Acácio Proença did a great save. Acácio Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Baianopolis SS's Acácio Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho do Valle in the 55th minute of play. Rodolfo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo da Silva having to interfere. Gerson Diniz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Edson Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Proença having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Léo da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Rei de Ouro's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Rocha came free, but Léo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rei de Ouro booed when Baianopolis SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Baianopolis SS got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Rocha. Conrado Pimenta's late challenge caught a Rei de Ouro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, one of Baianopolis SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Baianopolis SS. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Rei de Ouro. Tue Agerhøj stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Acácio Proença. 2-1. Léo da Silva made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Rodolfo Abreu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Baianopolis SS's Paulo Bertassi got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute Serginho do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baianopolis SS's Conrado Pimenta got a free kick in the 90th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rei de Ouro's Tue Agerhøj tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edson Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Acácio Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rei de Ouro. Léo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Rocha in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rei de Ouro's Gerson Diniz got a free kick in the 96th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Baltazar Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baianopolis SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rei de Ouro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Baianopolis SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
