Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Noel Leme started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Curintia booed when Queixo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christiano Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Quintal's late challenge caught a Curintia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Queixo Juniors getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Erasmo Quintal hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Ronaldão de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queixo Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Evandro da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arlindo da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Noel Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Róbson Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Noel Leme made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Róbson Abraão would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 30th minute, Queixo Juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christiano Penha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Róbson Abraão was a little too slow when Henrique Veloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. With a little luck, Queixo Juniors's Róbson Abraão got control of the ball when Noel Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Queixo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Veloso came free, but Róbson Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Queixo Juniors's zone, Henrique Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Abraão came out of the goal and Henrique Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Queixo Juniors getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erasmo Quintal hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro da Fonseca to make the kick off. Henrique Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Róbson Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christiano Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Ronaldão de Salles notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Curintia's Arlindo da Mata. Arlindo da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curintia's Arlindo da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro da Fonseca in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Curintia got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Munhoz. In the 65th minute, Evandro da Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arlindo da Mata, passed just outside the right post. Dagoberto Munhoz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Henrique Veloso struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Róbson Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curintia. Arlindo da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldão de Salles in the 76th minute. If Henrique Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curintia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
