Adidas City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agape FC the free kick. After 9 minutes Adidas City FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Velloso who took care of the corner kick. Carlos Eduardo Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Kauã Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adidas City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aloísio Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Eduardo Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Velasco in the 26th minute of play. When Adidas City FC's Cléberson Velasco in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Adidas City FC's Zé Roberto Silva got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Agape FC's Eurico Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmo Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Álvaro Figueiredo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. The supporters of Agape FC booed when Adidas City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Queirós was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Eurico Terra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eurico Terra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Terra to make the kick off. Romeu Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dalmo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Terra in the 58th minute of play. Dalmo Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adidas City FC's Dalmo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Terra in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Adidas City FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kauã Barbosa hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Aloísio Arósio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Queirós. Adidas City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aloísio Arósio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 84 played minutes Adidas City FC's Cléberson Velasco stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Carlos Eduardo Dionísio stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Agape FC of the goal. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agape FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeu Corrêa was slow to take the kick. During this time Adidas City FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Romeu Corrêa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agape FC's Carlos Eduardo Dionísio did a great save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Adidas City FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Agape FC.
