In the 13th minute Kléberson Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Manuel Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton Bastos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Bezerra in the 22nd minute of play. Nando Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Enéas Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Velloso in the 32nd minute of the match. Chicão de Moraes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 33rd playminute. The supporters of Centralito booed when Bernowarriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wilton Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes of play, Centralito's Kléberson Velloso made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Bernowarriors FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Centralito were winning 1-2.

Enéas Novaes came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Centralito's Allan Sarmento. But to his dismay, Allan Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Centralito getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Claudinho Recife hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Kléberson Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Kléberson Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centralito and the Bernowarriors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Elder Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléberson Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. When the match was over Centralito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bernowarriors FC throughout the match.
