Doni Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Paulinho Vianna put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Doni Torres. After 22 minutes, Paulinho Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tostes FC and the Fuma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulinho Vianna hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Juninho Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. Sílvio Luís das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edvin Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Edvin Alström made a huge save. Tostes FC's Paulinho Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Eger in the 39th minute of the match. During the 40th minute of the match Oswaldo Chaves completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oswaldo Chaves a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Fuma getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Oswaldo Chaves hit a great ball. Diego Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Fuma got a freekick which was hit by Diego Prado. Doni Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Vianna in the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fuma's zone, Juninho Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Torres came out of the goal and Juninho Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Vianna to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Fuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Prado to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Paulinho Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Fuma's Kléber Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Edvin Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tostes FC the free kick. 85 minutes into the game, Tostes FC's Paulinho Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
