The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Tomatemáticos F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Simão Alcântara hit a great ball. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Frank Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Prado in the 6th minute of play. A hard shot 11 in the game by Giovanni da Silveira from a close distance when the talented Doni Torres managed to make a qualified save. Fuma's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the match, Fuma's Sílvio Luís das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Pitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Fuma getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Igor Rodrigues hit a great ball. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Giovanni da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Fuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Simão Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Torres having to interfere. If Giovanni da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fuma's Doni Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni da Silveira in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Fuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fuma's Kléber Koehler got a free kick in the 66th minute. Giovanni da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Torres having to interfere. Doni Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni da Silveira in the 78th minute of play. Daniel Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Giovanni da Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Torres. Fuma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni da Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Frank Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luís das Neves in the 83rd minute. Giovanni da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Giovanni da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Simão Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Tomatemáticos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Alcântara couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Fuma's zone, Giovanni da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Torres came out of the goal and Giovanni da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Oscar Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Tomatemáticos F.C. were the better team. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
