Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emerson de Sena started the match with the kick off. When C.R. Legião's Zé Augusto Silva in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Power Guido FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Emerson de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.R. Legião's Cristóvão Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Silveira in the 6th minute of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Joel Quintal from a close distance when the talented Mauro Félix managed to make a qualified save. Power Guido FC's players were relieved. Mauro Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Lenílson Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Silva in the 17th minute of play forced Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Mauro Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Silveira in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Zé Augusto Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Lenílson Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristóvão Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, C.R. Legião was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Montenegro, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Augusto Silva in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Félix made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Joel Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Power Guido FC's Reynaldo Montenegro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lenílson Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Queirós having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Félix having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Augusto Silva made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Zé Augusto Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.R. Legião's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Augusto Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Joel Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Félix. Power Guido FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Joel Quintal scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Augusto Silva scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Quintal in the 72nd minute of play. Cristóvão Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Claudinei Carvalho's late challenge caught a C.R. Legião's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Augusto Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Félix having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Silva in the 83rd minute of play forced Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Mauro Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Augusto Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emerson de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Maranhense hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
