Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manoel Lara started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lagoinas's Rony Trancoso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lagoinas's zone, Manoel Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Aguiar came out of the goal and Manoel Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rony Trancoso during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Lagoinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Manoel Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Aguiar having to interfere. Lagoinas's Ramiro Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Lara in the 16th minute of play. Ramiro Aguiar came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mecanibais's Conrado Brito. But to his dismay, Conrado Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonathan Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dário Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Mecanibais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Elano Lopez sped through Mecanibais's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dário Britto. After 29 played minutes Lagoinas got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Cruz. After 34 played minutes Lagoinas got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Lima. Manoel Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Rony Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mecanibais's Dário Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Lopez in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Conrado Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mecanibais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagoinas the free kick. After 44 played minutes Mecanibais got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Brito. 46 minutes into the game, Lagoinas's Jonathan Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elano Lopez made a kick off. Rony Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elano Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Britto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mecanibais's zone, Lino Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Britto came out of the goal and Lino Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elano Lopez went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Lino Nóbrega took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Britto. Dário Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Dário Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Lopez in the 77th minute of play. Zé Paulo da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dário Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lagoinas's Elano Lopez in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mecanibais's goalie prevented a goal. If Jonathan Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jonathan Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagoinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dário Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mecanibais defense, Jonathan Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Britto. The Mecanibais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Britto should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Lagoinas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
