Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marcel Azevedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Azteca FC booed when Xanere SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azteca FC's goalkeeper Rubens Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match, Durval de Brito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubens Santana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Azteca FC's Rubens Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Azteca FC from getting a goal against them. If Durval de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Azteca FC's goalkeeper Rubens Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Rocha. After 31 minutes of play, Xanere SS's Tales Rocha made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Durval de Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rubens Santana. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Durval de Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rubens Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tales Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Durval de Brito made the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bernardo Macedo, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luís Fernando Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Santana having to interfere. Durval de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Tales Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xanere SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Durval de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Azteca FC's Rodrigo Fonseca got a free kick in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Rocha in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubens Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubens Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Azteca FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rodrigo Fonseca hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Rocha in the 92nd minute of play forced Azteca FC's goalkeeper Rubens Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azteca FC's Rubens Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval de Brito in the 95th minute of play.
