The tension between the Sovaco and the Real Matismo F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Sovaco got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Rezende. Alex Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Zé Carlos de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Matismo F.C. Zé Roberto Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos de Azevedo having to interfere. Real Matismo F.C's William da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Lopez in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Sovaco booed when Real Matismo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Matismo F.C's William da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Lopez in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tadeu Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Carlos de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sovaco's Aloísio Medeiros got a free kick in the 40th minute. José Paulo de Toledo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 49th minute, Bernardo Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Sovaco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Matismo F.C were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeu Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeu Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William da Silva having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Matismo F.C's zone, Bernardo Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William da Silva came out of the goal and Bernardo Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Lopez in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William da Silva was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 67 played minutes Sovaco got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Rezende. Bernardo Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Real Matismo F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fernandinho Goiano hit a great ball. Fernandinho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. William da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tadeu Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. William da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William da Silva having to interfere. Real Matismo F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sovaco's much stronger midfield.
