Jeremias Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Godoi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Juventude Jaraguá's zone, Jefferson Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Godoi came out of the goal and Jefferson Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson Pombal in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Godoi saved Juventude Jaraguá from getting behind. Thomás Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto Toledo made a huge save. Jeremias Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Jeremias Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Perrexil SS a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Delfim Tasso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Juventude Jaraguá's Cido Godoi. 0-1. Jefferson Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Juventude Jaraguá getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Moisés Mota hit a great ball. Perrexil SS's Jeremias Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Perrexil SS's Jeremias Loyola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cido Godoi. Cido Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. If Raphael Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thomás Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jefferson Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes of play, Perrexil SS's Jefferson Pombal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventude Jaraguá's goalkeeper Cido Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomás Santos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Alberto Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventude Jaraguá. 91 minutes into the match, Raphael Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Alberto Toledo. Perrexil SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Perrexil SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
