Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivo Marquez got the match started through his kick off. Clemente Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Veloso in the 8th minute of the match. Benê Toscano hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jairo Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Virtus Pro booed when Xanere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Virtus Pro's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Veloso came free, but Clemente Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Virtus Pro defense, Jairo Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Faria. The Virtus Pro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Faria should have stopped the shot. In the 28th match minute, Virtus Pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Tróia to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Xanere's Murillo Veloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes of play, Xanere's Jairo Paraíba made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Leonel Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Xanere were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murillo Veloso to make the kick off. Murillo Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ivo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Leonel Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank de Lara. Xanere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Leonel Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Frank de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Virtus Pro booed when Xanere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Virtus Pro's Ivo Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clemente Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Veloso in the 65th minute of the match. Clemente Faria made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jairo Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Marcinho Borges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Clemente Faria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Xanere got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Bittencourt. In the 82ndth minute of the game Leonel Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xanere's Frank de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Clemente Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match Xanere got a corner. Virtus Pro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xanere's Enrique Vidal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clemente Faria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Xanere defense, Ivo Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank de Lara. The Xanere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank de Lara should have stopped the shot.
