Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belmiro Tinoco started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Marquez in the 4th minute of play forced Ec Vitória's goalkeeper Mané Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Tinoco in the 8th minute of the match. Belmiro Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Faria having to interfere. Ec Vitória's Durvalino Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ec Vitória's Belmiro Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Durvalino Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ec Vitória's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Tinoco went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Clemente Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Schmidt in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Leonel Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virtus Pro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Tinoco went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, one of Ec Vitória:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ec Vitória. The Virtus Pro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ec Vitória were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ivo Marquez made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Ec Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson de Mendonça. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino Schmidt got free with Clemente Faria in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmílson de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Clemente Faria made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Durvalino Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Durvalino Schmidt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Faria. Durvalino Schmidt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 77 minutes, Belmiro Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ec Vitória's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Virtus Pro's Clemente Faria got control of the ball when Vitório Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ec Vitória's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Tróia came free, but Mané Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Durvalino Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Clemente Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mané Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Marquez in the 92nd minute of play. Belmiro Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ec Vitória's Belmiro Tinoco in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Virtus Pro's goalie prevented a goal. Belmiro Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Faria having to interfere. The Ec Vitória supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ec Vitória would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
