Walmir Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Marques in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Sophia AJ Clube's Percival Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Azevedo in the 20th minute of play forced Sophia AJ Clube's goalkeeper Richard Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When César Santana fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sophia AJ Clube's protests and gave César Santana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sophia AJ Clube's César Santana got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Richard Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauã Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When Faustão Teles fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sophia AJ Clube's protests and gave Faustão Teles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Sophia AJ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Teles to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Percival Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renatinho Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Walmir Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis Fantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Régis Fantini ran back to his position shaking his head. When Wágner Brito fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balbinos FC's protests and gave Wágner Brito a yellow card for diving instead. If Régis Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Renatinho Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Régis Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Richard Baptista. Sophia AJ Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Régis Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Baptista having to interfere. Sophia AJ Clube's Richard Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Sophia AJ Clube from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kauã Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balbinos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sophia AJ Clube's Richard Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sophia AJ Clube from getting a goal against them. Richard Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Azevedo in the 73rd minute of play. When Kauã Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Balbinos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Kauã Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Baptista having to make a save. Régis Fantini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Richard Baptista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Balbinos FC's Kauã Azevedo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sophia AJ Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Kauã Azevedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Balbinos FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sophia AJ Clube to leave the ground with a draw.
