Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilmar Santos started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Red Bull FC booed when Capoeiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Capoeiras FC's Gilmar Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisinho de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Oliveira's late challenge caught a Capoeiras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Red Bull FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Oliveira. When João Paulo Varela fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull FC's protests and gave João Paulo Varela a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the match, Red Bull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Mota came free, but Luisinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Tomé Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capoeiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilmar Santos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho de Amaral saved Red Bull FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Santos in the 28th minute of play forced Red Bull FC's goalkeeper Luisinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Sabóia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Gilmar Santos succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Capoeiras FC's Gilmar Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomé Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luisinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubens Saldanha in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho de Amaral saved Red Bull FC from getting behind. Gilmar Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisinho de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas de Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisinho de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar Santos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th match minute, Capoeiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Luisinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Saldanha in the 58th minute of the match. Tomé Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Santos in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisinho de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Red Bull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Santos came free, but Luisinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Red Bull FC got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Sabóia. Luisinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Santos in the 72nd minute of the match. Gilmar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho de Amaral having to interfere. Ediberto Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Capoeiras FC's zone, Nicolas de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Lara came out of the goal and Nicolas de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilmar Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tomé Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capoeiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas de Brito in the 87th minute of play. Luisinho de Amaral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dida Loureiro. Luisinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Santos in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Capoeiras FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Bull FC throughout the match.
