Du Campo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Cunha hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Régis de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Du Campo FC had won after a very even match.
