Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Percival Rosado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexsandro Godoi was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Rômulo Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rômulo Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 10th of the match, Rômulo Castro tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alexsandro Godoi got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 14th minute Rômulo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Rosado in the 18th minute of play forced Pirangussu SC's goalkeeper Alexandre Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Alexsandro Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Luverdense Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Rômulo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. Pirangussu SC's Alexandre Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber de Alcântara in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, João Pedro Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Pernambucano. Pirangussu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Percival Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Pernambucano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 39 minutes of play, Pirangussu SC's Diego Zilles made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexsandro Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Robinho Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Diego Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirangussu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Zilles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rômulo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. Diego Zilles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Alexsandro Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Castro's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 66 minutes, Rômulo Castro made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Alexsandro Godoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute Rômulo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percival Rosado struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alexandre Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luverdense Esporte Clube. Rômulo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pirangussu SC's Zé Roberto Barreto got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pirangussu SC's zone, João Pedro Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Pernambucano came out of the goal and João Pedro Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pirangussu SC had won after a very even match.
