Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Percy Gaspar's late challenge caught a Gonçalense F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. Percy Gaspar hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Eusébio Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alexsandro Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Alexsandro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Tande in the 11th minute of play. Laércio Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. In the 21st minute Eusébio Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aílton Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Godoi having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match Oséas Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aílton Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aílton Almeida came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Luverdense Esporte Clube's João Pedro Ramos. But to his dismay, João Pedro Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eusébio Tande was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aílton Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Luverdense Esporte Clube booed when Gonçalense F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Percival Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Ramoss short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Aílton Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Percival Rosado struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Aílton Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luverdense Esporte Clube. If Percival Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percival Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gonçalense F.C's Laércio Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Gonçalense F.C's Eusébio Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexsandro Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Luverdense Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Richard Cruz hit a great ball. The Gonçalense F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Luverdense Esporte Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Luverdense Esporte Clube.
