A collision led to Bitaculo SC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Juan Matos hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Clockwork Orange's Wiliam Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerson Quirino. Gerson Quirino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Arí Brodel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diguinho Galvão having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vágner Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ronaldão Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clockwork Orange's zone, Dorival Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Galvão came out of the goal and Dorival Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Nogueira in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Vágner Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diguinho Galvão was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Enéas Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vágner Nogueira in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Galvão saved Clockwork Orange from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Clockwork Orange's Toninho Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerson Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Bitaculo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Nogueira came free, but Gerson Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Arí Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bitaculo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diguinho Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bitaculo SC booed when Clockwork Orange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vágner Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bitaculo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
