Wiliam Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helvetia SC's Pedro Luís Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Bertassi in the 7th minute of play. Clockwork Orange's Wiliam Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Toninho Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Nogueira in the 13th minute of play forced Helvetia SC's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clockwork Orange's Diguinho Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Veiga in the 18th minute of play. Nuno Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Galvão having to interfere. The supporters of Helvetia SC booed when Clockwork Orange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Clockwork Orange getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ronaldão Paraense hit a great ball. Diguinho Galvão came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Helvetia SC's Nuno Messias. But to his dismay, Nuno Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wiliam Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pedro Luís Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Galvão having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Helvetia SC's Pedro Luís Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Helvetia SC from getting a goal against them. After 62 played minutes Helvetia SC got a freekick which was hit by Germano de Alcântara. A collision led to Clockwork Orange getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dudu Cruz hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Wiliam Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clockwork Orange's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Messias took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diguinho Galvão. Diguinho Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ramiro Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Veiga in the 87th minute of play forced Clockwork Orange's goalkeeper Diguinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Toninho Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Cruz. Helvetia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pedro Luís Cruz was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Wiliam Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiliam Nogueira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The Clockwork Orange players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Helvetia SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
