Carlos Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Diguinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Toninho Bertassi sped through Sangue Nos Zóio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Arruda. In the 14th match minute, Clockwork Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Diguinho Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cruz in the 15th minute of play. Toninho Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fábio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didi Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Sangue Nos Zóio got a freekick which was hit by Didi Correia. When Clockwork Orange's Wiliam Nogueira in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sangue Nos Zóio's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 minutes, Enrique Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clockwork Orange and the Sangue Nos Zóio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Clockwork Orange got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Ramalho. If Wiliam Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Toninho Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clockwork Orange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dudu Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Diguinho Galvão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Willian Rezende. Carlos Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Galvão having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clockwork Orange's goalkeeper Diguinho Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Carlos Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Wiliam Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sangue Nos Zóio getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Téo Rodrigues hit a great ball. Toninho Bertassi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Arruda. Fábio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Sangue Nos Zóio's Fábio Arruda got control of the ball when Toninho Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Cruz in the 60th minute of play forced Clockwork Orange's goalkeeper Diguinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, one of Sangue Nos Zóio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute, Téo Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sangue Nos Zóio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Wiliam Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Arruda having to interfere. Téo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Carlos Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Diguinho Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the game, Toninho Bertassi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fábio Arruda. Toninho Bertassi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The Clockwork Orange supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clockwork Orange would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
