William Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiradentes AD's William Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Leme in the 24th minute of play. Marcinho Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Nascimento went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Luiz Guilherme Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tiradentes AD's Alan Sabóia got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tiradentes AD's zone, Clóvis Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Barros came out of the goal and Clóvis Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcinho Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
