Felipe Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá do Nascimento went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. DRAGONS's Felipe Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá do Nascimento in the 9th minute of play. Band MZC's Raimundo Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Band MZC from getting a goal against them. Dadá do Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá do Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Freire in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Dadá do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Band MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aloísio Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Otávio Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Raimundo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Band MZC booed when DRAGONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Otávio Moraes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Raimundo Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DRAGONS. A collision led to Band MZC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dadá do Nascimento hit a great ball. Mazinho Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Nascimento having to interfere. In the 81st minute Mazinho Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Band MZC's Felipe Matorin threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dadá do Nascimento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Otávio Moraes scored 1-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimundo Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Band MZC's zone, Mazinho Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Nascimento came out of the goal and Mazinho Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Band MZC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vágner Varela hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, DRAGONS's David de Godoi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
